Goals and Objectives
 

The goal of Community Action For Independent Living, Inc. is to offer individuals homes within the community where they can live meaningful, Indepentend lives.

Objectives instrumental in ensuring continuing high standards of programming toward attaining this goal are:


Administrators involved in quality enhancement, advocating for individuals' rights, support for staff and involvement at all levels of the program.
 

Qualified, caring staff providing twenty-four hour supervision in a dignified home-like setting.

A staff capable through Professional Development and experience, of understanding and relating to individuals with disabilities.

Differentiated instruction to meet the dynamic changes occurring within individuals.

Consultants offering specialized services.

Family involvement is actively encouraged. Good communication and solid relations with parents, guardians and other family members.
 
Preparation for work in the community, paid or volunteer.
 
 
Opportunities to make friends in the community and build social capital.
